You guess it right, here I’m talking about the legendary actor Irfan Khan, who has passed away due to colon infection. For many of us, this news is very heartbroken, I still remember the last time when I watched his movie ‘Angrezi Medium’ and couldn’t keep my eyes away from his incredible acting. Irfan Khan, Bollywood’s Trailblazer was a fantastic soul, someone who fought till the end and always inspired everyone who came close to him.

Khan, who acted in more than 100 movies, is widely known for his iconic roles in the world of cinema such as Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, Talvar and Hindi Medium. But apart from an illustrious career in the Hindi film Industry, Khan was also known for his international projects.

Irfan Khan, one of India’s best crossover actor took to Twitter on March 5, 2018, to reveal that he has a rare kind of cancer neuroendocrine tumor and that he will share his story after the diagnosis is over. “Sometimes you wake up with a jolt with life shaking you up. The last fifteen days, my life has been a suspense story. Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease. I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will. My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible. In trying times, please don’t speculate as I will myself share with you my story within a week – ten days, when the further investigations come with a conclusive diagnosis. Till then, wish the best for me,” wrote Irfan.

He also shared some of the lines from 19th-century Austrian writer Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem:

 ” I feel an urge to share with you something.

 I live my life in widening rings which spread over earth and sky.
